The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes Ozarks Tech graduates who have achieved extraordinary success and made a lasting impact in their professions and communities. Each recipient reflects the college’s core values and serves as an inspiration to current students and future alumni.

The award is presented each May during the Ozarks Tech Commencement Ceremony.

Nominate an Extraordinary Alum

Do you know an Ozarks Tech graduate whose accomplishments deserve to be celebrated? The Commencement Committee invites you to submit a nomination for the next Distinguished Alumni Award.

Nominees should meet the following criteria:

Professional Achievement: The candidate has attained distinction in their career and/or made significant contributions to society.
Character and Values: The candidate demonstrates and upholds Ozarks Tech’s core values.
Leadership and Integrity: The candidate exhibits leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Alumni Status: The candidate must have attended Ozarks Technical Community College.

Nominations from previous years will automatically be considered for 2025. The Commencement Committee reviews all submissions and presents top candidates to the chancellor for final consideration.
